For 11 years Rita held a State-Certified Instructor Credential in Alabama Court Referral Program of the Alabama Administrative Office of Courts and regularly taught Level 1 and Level 2 classes for North Alabama Court Referral Services.

June 30: The completed submittal package for Precious Poems was transmitted electronically to our prospective publisher.
June 30: Our Pastor Dale Foote asks for church's prayers for the entire Precious Poems effort and then he and all the Deacon staff publically prayed the success of this project.

December, 2012:

December 10: Rita interviewed Yvette Maher for a section of narrative for "So You Love a Prodigal." Yvette Maher is currently serving as Associate Pastor, 50+L.I.F.E and Women's Ministries New Life Church. She has previously served as Senior Vice-president of Family Ministries as well as Senior Communications Specialist at Focus on the Family. In her 20 year tenure at Family Ministries, Yvette authored many articles for Focus on the Family Magazines and appeared frequently on the daily broadcast, Weekend Magazine and host for the live weekly webcast Your Family Live! She is a frequent speaker at women's conferences and retreats around the globe. Her experience at Focus on the Family has given Yvette valuable insight and a heightened sensitivity to the many challenges people face in today's society. Her combination of an engaging and humorous personality, along with knowledge of spiritual principles and truths, allows Yvette to encourage people to value their God-given design and to impact their homes, communities and the world for Christ.

September 29: Community-wide presentation scheduled for a Saturday Evening at Seddon Baptist Church. The subject of her presentation was: "So You Love a Prodigal What you can do, what you can't do, and why you can't quit." Why this this subject? Rita would say," People are hurting, and I want them to know that no matter how difficult their circumstances might be, there is hope."
